Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 22 (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh diaspora in London has warmly welcomed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's initiative to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a 'Viksit Bharat @2047' through the launch of the 'Viksit UP 2047' initiative. A large gathering at The Curve Slough Hall in London witnessed enthusiastic participation as the diaspora engaged with the objectives of the campaign, an official statement said.
Ravindra Jaiswal, Minister of State for Stamps and Registration (Independent Charge), Uttar Pradesh, addressed the gathering, highlighting the transformational changes underway in Uttar Pradesh and the state's roadmap for development leading up to 2047. Minister Jaiswal noted during his one-to-one interaction that the diaspora's keen interest in contributing their insights and experiences to help achieve the goals of a developed Uttar Pradesh.
UPDF-UK chairman Dr Ajay Singh said that the diaspora people here expressed their desire to extend the campaign to other cities with significant UP diaspora populations, including Cambridge and Swindon, ensuring wider participation and feedback. Sandeep Singh expressed at Cambridge while Ritesh expressed for Swindon.
The Viksit UP initiative and Logo Launch was coordinated by UP-origin London residents--UPDF UK Chairman Dr. Ajay Singh, Ashish Mishra and Madhuresh Mishra. UPDF Global Chairman Pankaj Jaiswal is coordinating the broader 'Viksit UP 2047' initiative in England so that maximum suggestion can be taken from the diasporas before October 5th. In the event Viksit UP@2047 logo was launched by Minister, Dr Ajay Singh, Madhuresh, Ashish and Ritesh.
As per Dr Ajay, 'Before we will gather more than thousands suggestions across from the UK as UP Diaspora wants to participate and partnering into the growth of the state under the Leadership of Yogi Adityanath.
According to Pankaj Jaiswal, similar programmes are being organised in Dubai, the Netherlands, the USA, and other countries to connect with the global UP diaspora and further the vision of a developed Uttar Pradesh.
During the event, books authored by Ashish Mishra and Padmesh Gupta were launched in front of the large diaspora gathering.
The event was graced by the presence of the Virendra Sharma, Former MP, UK; Siobhan Dauti, Mayor of Slough; Abhiramacharya Ji Maharaj; Anuradha Pandey from the Indian High Commission; Surya Didi of Brahmrishi Ashram, London; Deputy Mayor Neel Rana; Tushar Kumar; Councillors Dhruv Tomar, Parveen Rani, and Chandra Muvalla; Puja Bedi; as well as members of the UP Diaspora, including Madhuresh Mishra, Manoj Mishra, Santosh Pandey, Rajesh Vishwakarma, Rajeev Aggrawal, and Gyan Sharma.
